We trigger the refund inside Stripe within 48 hours of your email. From there, your bank controls the timing: 5 to 10 business days to show up on your statement. US cards clear faster (2–4 days), some Canadian banks take the full 10. If it hasn't landed by day 10, email us and we'll pull the Stripe trace for you.
Refunds always go back to the original payment method in the original currency — same card you used at checkout.
Honest answer: return shipping costs us almost as much as the corrector itself, and inspecting a used product to resell it isn't really viable. We'd rather just refund you and let you keep what you paid for. If the corrector helps a friend, a parent, or ends up donated, that's a better outcome than it sitting in our warehouse for 6 months before getting tossed. Loss for us either way — at least this way it might do some good.
We only reject refund requests in these cases:
If your box arrives crushed, the corrector is torn, or we shipped the wrong size: photo of the damage to support@kelyr.com within 7 days of delivery. We ship a replacement the same day. You keep (or recycle) the defective one — no return needed. We eat the loss, not you.
Even past the 30-day refund window, your legal warranty under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act (articles 37–38) and article 1726 of the Civil Code of Quebec still applies. If the corrector breaks within a reasonable time under normal use, email support@kelyr.com with proof of purchase and a description. EU consumers benefit from the 2-year legal conformity warranty (Directive 2019/771).
For statutory warranty claims, we may request photos or, in rare cases, the product back — that's a separate process from the no-return refund window.
This policy meets the Quebec Consumer Protection Act (Loi sur la protection du consommateur) and Stripe's merchant refund requirements. If you paid with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any card through Stripe Checkout, the refund goes back through Stripe's network with full traceability.
Your statutory rights under Quebec law remain unchanged regardless of anything in this policy — if a clause here contradicts the Consumer Protection Act, the Act wins.
We wrote this policy so you'd stop worrying about it and try the corrector. The fastest way to know if KELYR works for your back is to wear it for two weeks — still inside the refund window. If it didn't change anything, send the email on day 29. We refund, you keep it, no hurt feelings on our side.
